Description

Do you want to be part of the journey to create a robust, secure, and sustainable water and sewage operation? Then you might be just the person we are looking for as a safety coordinator/operational security specialist.

We are looking for an engaged employee for the Business Area Water and Sewage unit Customer and Operations Support. The unit currently consists of 10 employees who report directly to the Business Area Manager. Within the unit, there is a group that provides operational support to the business area's other units Pipeline Network, Water, Sewage, in matters concerning environment, processes, electrical/control, and projects, as well as safety. There is also a group that handles customer inquiries. Within the company, there is a network for issues related to safety and information security where collaboration and experience exchange takes place between the different business areas.

The Role of Safety Coordinator

The external environment is changing and placing increasing demands on essential services to take expanded measures to protect facilities, information, and personnel. New EU directives and Swedish legislation in the field of safety and information security will soon come into force. Lidköping Environment and Technology AB (Limtab) therefore needs to strengthen its capabilities in these respects.

As a safety coordinator/operational security specialist within the business area Water and Sewage at Lidköping Environment and Technology AB (Limtab), you will contribute to the long-term strategic work while ensuring that the plans become reality in practice. The focus is on implementation, follow-up, and creating structure.

Job Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

  • be a link between Limtab's overall safety coordinator and the operations within the business area Water and Sewage, and be the business area's representative in the company's safety group
  • conduct/participate in risk and vulnerability analyses, propose, plan, and independently carry out decided activities within the safety area
  • work with the business area's information security issues
  • in collaboration with the company's safety coordinator, develop specific routines and standards, for example for physical security, and various work processes within the business area
  • support project managers to ensure that safety issues are handled systematically and correctly at different stages of the projects
  • support the operations organization and other disciplines in the business in safety issues, information security, physical security, and technical security systems
  • be responsible for fire safety within the business area
  • be the system administrator for our technical security systems
  • contribute to creating a safety mindset and a safety culture within the business area

We are looking for you who have:

  • experience of, and a strong interest in safety work
  • relevant higher education or university degree, or equivalent experience
  • driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience of safety work from a similar role and from a similar technical operation
  • knowledge of relevant legislation
